Impulse Research Lab is a privately owned contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) situated in Surat, Gujarat, India. Impulse Research Lab has an established track record of demonstrated excellence in research, process development, process scale-up, process engineering, and custom manufacturing of fine and speciality chemicals across the broad spectrum of chemical industry. The founders and research team of IRL have broad experience of working for world’s leading companies in the field of agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, speciality coatings, luminescent pigments, fine chemicals, petrochemicals etc. on multiple projects.

Impulse Research Lab’s founders deliberately chose to create an organization whose focus is on moving innovation into the marketplace. Founded in August 2023, IMPULSE has commenced it’s first state-of-the-art R&D facilities in 1500 sq ft. area in Pandesara GIDC, Surat with modern fume hoods and advanced analytical equipment (GC, HPLC). Our labs are ISO 9001:2015 certified and we are certified member of PIL for CET services. In 2024, Impulse Research Lab established strategic partnership with Indian Chemical Manufacturers under confidentiality agreement (CDA) for the pilot plant and scale-up facilities in order to provide our valued customers a complete lab to production scale support. Recently, Impulse Research Lab has commenced a three party agreement with UK based company for the development of novel “metal scavengers” to be manufactured for the first time in India.

Today, IMPULSE is equipped to start a project with molecular structure and go all the way to commercial production exclusively with internal and associated capabilities. This includes first synthesis at a lab-scale, route scouting, process design, process scale-up, plant design with process safety analysis, and finally set up of production facilities followed by process implementation at a commercial scale. We admire making molecules that are not commonly made and require intelligent chemical solutions.
